Digital cameras got better. Phones became the cameras we carried everywhere. Editing apps made it possible to transform a photo in seconds. We could take hundreds of pictures without thinking twice about how much film was left in the camera.
And yet, somewhere along the way, film started coming back. Not quietly, either.
