Capturing subjects from distant wildlife to fast-paced motorsports, this lens delivers sharp rendering across its zoom range, with a 19-element, 12-group optical design that delivers crisp resolution, natural bokeh, and smooth transitions between focus and background across its zoom range.
Incorporating Dual I.S. 2 with up to seven stops of stabilization, the lens enables sharp handheld images even at 500mm. A dual-phase linear motor drives rapid, precise autofocus, while focus breathing suppression and micro-step aperture control deliver uncompromising video performance. Featuring dust, splash, and freeze-resistant construction, this ultra-telephoto zoom ensures reliable performance in challenging environments.
