The P-324SR Carbon Fiber Photo/Video Monopod from Sirui is a 4-section carbon fiber monopod with three fold-down support feet for additional stability. In addition, an adjustable friction control ball head mechanism in the base of the monopod and a panning hand grip enable smooth 360° pan and 20° tilt movements. The three support feet fold up and lock into position against the monopod and can even be removed entirely and used as a table-top tripod. A large rubber base foot is available for conventional use and it can be removed and replaced with the included spike foot for use on soft or slippery ground. It weighs just 3.3 lb but can support a load up to 22 lb.
The mounting plate on the P-324SR comes with a reversible screw that accommodates 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod sockets or compatible heads. The maximum height reaches 69" and it can fold down to 28.3", three twist locks provide quick and stable adjustment. With adjustable tension control, the base locking collar enables the monopod to stand upright on its own.
The Sirui VH-10X Video Head facilitates smooth panning and tilting of your video camera with its fluid system. It can be mounted on tripods that sport a 3/8"-16 screw. The video head can rotate a full 360° and offers friction control across four levels, from 0 to 3. Additionally, this head may be tilted 65° downwards and 90° upwards. Counterbalance weights of up to 4.4 lb (2 kg) can be used with this video head for additional stability during shoots. The head’s rubberized arm is designed for use by right- and left-handed people. Helping set the mounted camera straight on the head are the two spirit levels that indicate the level of alignment. A BP-90 quick-release plate is fitted on the video head. The plate has both 1/4- and 3/8-inch threads for mounting cameras. The safety-lock system prevents the QR plate from slipping. This aluminum video head can take cameras weighing up to 8.8 lb (4 kg).
