SmallRig Advanced HawkLock Cage for Sony FX5

SmallRig Advanced "HawkLock" Cage for Sony FX5 (6774) is designed to protect the camera body while providing multiple mounting points for accessory expansion.

The modular design includes removable top plates and a U-shaped cage, allowing flexible configurations. Each section is securely mounted with multiple screws to ensure stable, anti-twist performance, while built-in padding protects the camera from scratches.

The detachable top plates allow compatibility with the Sony XLR handle (XLR-H2B) and electronic viewfinder (DVF-EL1B). The battery area features an improved lever design that follows the camera’s contours for better grip and comfort.

A dedicated HDMI cable clamp protects the port and maintains stable signal transmission during shooting.

The cage includes multiple mounting options such as 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 1/4"-20 locating holes, 3/8"-16 threaded holes, ARRI locating holes, a NATO rail, Arca-type quick release plate, and wrist strap slot. Anti-drop safety stops on the NATO rail and Arca plate improve security. A magnetic wrench is built in for easy adjustments.
