SmallRig HawkLock Cage for Sony FX5
SmallRig "HawkLock" Cage for Sony FX5 (6776) is designed to protect the camera while providing versatile mounting options for professional accessories.
The modular design includes a removable NATO rail top plate and a U-shaped cage. The top plate attaches via two 1/4"-20 screws and can be removed to accommodate the original Sony XLR top handle. The U-shaped cage mounts securely at multiple points to prevent twisting and includes protective padding to prevent scratches. A hinged arm near the battery door improves grip and comfort.
A dedicated HDMI cable clamp protects ports and ensures stable signal transmission. SmallRig’s HawkLock quick release system integrates a NATO rail and Arca-Swiss plate for fast, secure mounting and compatibility with HawkLock accessories, while still supporting standard NATO and Arca-Swiss components.
The cage features multiple mounting points including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 1/4"-20 locating holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, a QD socket, strap slot, NATO rail, and cold shoe mounts. A magnetic wrench is included for quick adjustments and assembly.
