Savage has come up with a clever, unique, and ingenious support system with the introduction of the Double Riser Stand. To begin with, it's not a single stand at all but rather two stands joined by a scissor-like apparatus that extends to 63" or anywhere in between to support two stainless steel double risers with a maximum height of 9.6' and locking 3" casters.
The stand offers countless mounting options, the most obvious of which is mounting two light fixtures on the risers' 5/8" studs; but you can also mount a light and diffuser on the same support. The expanding 13 to 63" connecting span is great for mounting camera sliders. It can also support a 50" roll of seamless paper with the addition of an optional crossbar to hold it.
