Sigma 135mm f/1.4 DG Art Lens for for Leica L

Highlight your subject against extremely large, natural bokeh to create stunning portraits, product images, and lifestyle shots with the 135mm f/1.4 DG Art Lens from Sigma. This telephoto lens is designed for high-resolution rendering and utilizes FLD and aspherical glass to suppress chromatic aberration, delivering crisp detail even when wide open at f/1.4.

Versatile Lens Construction

The lens features an assignable AFL button for custom functions as well as a focus mode switch and aperture ring lock. The aperture ring can be changed from clicked to declicked for smooth video operation.
A water- and oil-repellent coating on the front lens element makes it possible to shoot in harsh outdoor environments, while the dust- and splash-resistant construction keeps the internal elements protected.
Included is a removable tripod socket compatible with Arca-type clamps for increased stability due to the weight of the lens. The tripod socket can be replaced with the supplied protective cover.

Complex Optical Design

Sigma combines two aspherical elements and four F Low Dispersion (FLD) elements to ensure clarity from wide open at f/1.4 through the rest of the aperture range.
A total of 17 elements in 13 groups, as well as a 13-blade rounded diaphragm, create beautiful circular bokeh, minimizing vignetting and color bleeding even at the edges.
Sigma's Super Multi-Layer Coating is used to optimize backlight resistance, minimizing potential lens flare and ghosting.

Powerful Focusing System

No longer purely for photography, the lens elements have been optimized to reduce focus breathing, making it a strong choice for professional video use.
Powered by Sigma's dual HLA (High-Response Linear Actuator) focusing system for fast and quiet autofocusing throughout the entire telephoto focusing range, allowing fast-moving subjects to be captured reliably.
