Based on the popular 28-45mm f/1.8 DG DN Art lens, Sigma introduces the Leica L-mount 28-45mm T2 Cine Zoom Lens with AF, a zoom lens for full-frame cinema cameras that also features autofocus. It features a 28-45mm zoom with a 1.4x magnification ratio and T2 to T16 aperture range, and it has a switch that changes the lens from manual to autofocus in a snap. Its 11-blade aperture provides a soft bokeh for a dramatic cinema look.
Advanced Optical Design
The Sigma 28-45mm T2 FF incorporates the optical system of the still Sigma 28-45mm f/1.8 DG DN | Art lens. These lenses deliver exceptional resolution and beautiful bokeh regardless of focal length or focus position, along with a sharp, clean look with minimal flare and ghosting.
Professional-Grade Mechanical Design
Inheriting the rendering performance and reliability of Sigma's Art lenses, the AF Cine Line adds cinema-style mechanics and operability. It features a limited-rotation focus ring, industry-standard 0.8M pitch gears, and a clickless aperture ring.
All three lens gears are standard 0.8 MOD and feature a damper that eliminates metallic sounds when you reach the end of the lens travel.
AF Tracking System
Equipped with a linear motor HLA (High-response Linear Actuator), the Sigma AF Cine Line captures intense movements in action scenes, rapid focus shifts in gimbal or handheld shooting, and unpredictable moments in documentaries without missing a split second.
Lens Front
The lens features a 95mm front diameter for compatibility with a wide variety of matte boxes and incorporates an 82mm front filter thread.
Support Foot and Thread
The lens includes a removable support foot. A 1/4"-20 thread allows you to utilize optional lens mounts for a stable setup.
